Modern research center for traditional Chinese medicine (MRCTCM) was began to set up in Jul 2011, and run in Sep 2012. As a part of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM), it enjoys advantages of multi- and trans-disciplinary crossing and aims to promote the modernization and internalization of TCM by employing various modern methods and advanced technologies. We are devoting ourselves to explore the effective substances and the action mechanisms of TCM, finally to develop modern TCM-derived drugs with desired therapeutic efficacy , high safety, clarified effective ingredients, specified targets, controllable quality, and convenient dosage forms. MRCTCM is directed by Prof Pengfei Tu, the Univer Prof of BUCM, and under the guidance of an academic committee comprising by a number of prestigious academicians and professors. 相关文章

The center consists of an admin office coupled with eight research groups, including groups of phytochemistry , natural products biosynthesis, quality evaluation, pharmacology, drug metabolism, pharmaceutics and drug development. Currently, MRCTCM comprises of 16 fellows, who own extensive education backgrounds, such as clinical medicine, chemistry, pharmacology, molecular biology, bioinformatics and information technology, etc. For the purpose of developing modern Chinese medicine, we joint our efforts, hopefully to make the newborn research center as a base on Chinese medicine radiating to the whole university, nationwide, and even worldwide. 对照阅读
